nothing for no one

Beginning to a story that no one would ever want to hear the rest of

Eleanor & The Department Store

Eleanor had worked in a department store for 6 years. Like most department stores, it had many departments. Every time Eleanor was asked which department she worked in, she had a panic attack. The problem was, after 6 years, she truly didn’t know.

On her first day of work, she trained as a cashier near the perfumes, but her co-worker Cindy said that Eleanor wasn’t allowed to touch or smell the products.

The next day, the cash register was gone & Cindy was nowhere to be found. Eleanor went searching for a manager and along the way, a customer asked her if she knew anything about the blenders. In fact, they had so much fun chatting, they left together as the store closed and became good friends forever and ever. The following day, she roamed around looking for more friends and avoiding sales (as she lost her cash register). She talked so much to so many people, she lost track of time. Every day. She did the same thing for a couple weeks and got a paycheck in the mail. The money was great and so were the chats.

The next thing she knew, 6 years went by,… (TO NOT BE CONTINUED)
